This TV stand is solid walnut. Note the pillowed joinery around the legs to provide a little shadow and detail, and to allow for proper wood movement. The legs are made of pposite and complementary grain, with a slight taper on the two inner sides. The finish is a sprayed clear lacquer.

This dresser is a combination of solid walnut, and walnut veneer. The drawers are solid maple with dovetails on all corners, sliding on hidden soft-close hardware. The set of solid walnut drawer fronts are made as one piece, then split into 5 ensuring a cohesive front to the piece. The finish is a sprayed clear lacquer.

This King bed has four large drawers mounted underneath for plenty of storage. The design was a collaboration with the client, based on several inspiration photos. Note the consistent grain in the veneers on the sides and footboard. The drawers run on high quality soft-close slides hidden under the drawers, and show off dovetailed joinery on all corners. The client provided input on every detail from height of the sides, to the position of the bottom of the upholstery relative to the mattress. Custom is as custom as you want to make it!

This is a king-sized king size bed. The design was worked out based on a set of 6 inspiration photos provided by the client. Together with the client the design was tweaked in every detail, from the size of the slats and spacing to the height of the rails, and the size of the large posts. The colour contrasts of the grey with the black make for a bold statement. Every bed I make is 100% custom designed just for the client. This was a great collaboration.
This solid walnut table was designed for this small but elegant dining room. It will be complemented by a set of mid-century-modern chairs. With the table are two individual benches that will sit out of the way under the table. The joinery is 100% mortice and tenon. The only metal fasteners are a few screws holding the table top to the base. The form of the legs are a ‘modern’ take on the Mid-Century Modern table. The shape of the table legs are matched in the smaller versions of the benches.

Working with the client from a few inspiration photos, we landed on this design for the king size platform bed and pair of night stands. The bed and window above were designed in concert to make a unifying look. The client wanted a closed bottom on the bed, and the night stands hung on the wall to make cleaning easy. All pieces are a combination of solid walnut and walnut veneers. The nightstands feature solid maple drawers with dovetails on all corners and soft-close invisible slides. The drawer front overhangs the bottom of the nightstand so it does not require a pull to interrupt the beautiful solid walnut drawer front.
This bedroom set was made in four pieces based on an inspiration from the client, and is the result of collaboration between the furniture maker and the interior designer.
We made two wide nightstands, a highboy dresser and a TV console. The pieces have solid walnut drawer fronts and doors, solid maple dovetailed drawers with soft-close under-mount slides.

This bed and complementary nightstands are made of solid maple. The design is a touch of modern, with a treatment on the wood that makes it a little like greyed wood. The nightstands each have a solid maple dovetailed drawer, on full-extension soft-close slides. The tables were designed so the drawers do not require pulls, although they can be added if the look is desired. The aprons of the nightstands have a small bead around the bottom for a little shadow. Joinery on all pieces are traditional mortice and tenon joinery, with dovetails on the drawer boxes.
Thank you again for the delivery and set up yesterday. I want you to know how happy I am with the bed and night tables. It wows me whenever I come into the room and I keep being impressed with the design and the workmanship. I could not have wished for better.

This small corner cabinet design was sent by the client with specific measurements for a corner of the room. The cabinet is made entirely of solid maple, requiring some creative construction to allow for the wood movement as the seasons change.
A cute cabinet that can be done in almost any dimension, or number of shelves, and of course, any type of wood.
